Andrew Hancock has over 25 years of work experience in medical device development. In R&D roles from engineer to director, he has taken projects starting from bare concepts through detail design to full market release. He has dealt with challenging regulatory approval processes and was personally responsible for training end users. As Director of Manufacturing and Operations, he has been responsible for multi-million dollar facility development projects including complex clean room HVAC systems, compressed air systems and power and plumbing systems. He has managed and trained engineers, technicians and assemblers and is particularly adept and developing cohesive team strategies. Andrew has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is a registered Mechanical Engineer in the state of California. He currently holds 16 US patents.
